In this difficult time we want to support our clients and continue to offer our services and help in whatever capacity we can.

Here’s an update on our situation and some advice on things you can be doing too for your business…

Update on the Contrast Team

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, all our staff are working from home and will continue to provide design, marketing, communications and content generation services.

For design, our team is fully up and running! We will be updating out Instagram stories with more personal messages and insights of how we are getting on working from home. If you’re not already, you can follow us @contrastagram and @highcontrast2.

In terms of photography, our photographers can still shoot under certain circumstances. In this difficult time we want to support our clients and continue to offer our services and help in whatever capacity we can. We suggest you get in touch with us, and have a chat. Every enquiry will be reviewed and discussed how we can best facilitate your requirements under the most recent government advise.

At this current time, we are offering free collection and delivery of goods within the Manchester area and the facility to share a shoot session via Skype so you can still attend and monitor in a virtual capacity if required.

Now is the time to keep in touch with your customer. Let them know you’re still available and what your company is doing, making sure to keep the content relevant and specific to your business.

We’ve outlined some tips for making this happen:

  • Add temporary hours to Google My Business if these have changed and update contact numbers if your main one is not diverted
  • Add a short post to Google My Business that gives a statement of your availability and activity
  • Take this same information and use it to create a blog post on your website
  • Update your email signatures to reflect which communication methods are now more effective if working from home

 

It will be a tough few months for all businesses, either due to a downturn in work or a lack of work force. While we don’t want to keep hearing about the virus, by taking a proactive approach to communicate with your customers we can keep the airways open, pull together and help each other as much as possible.

Some things your customers may like to know are:

  • If your offices/warehouse/stores are open
  • Staff availability
  • Safety procedures if you’re still operating from and office/warehouse/store
  • What services you can offer online
  • Interrupted services or product shipments and those which are not affected
  • Instructions for how customers can alter existing appointments with you
  • Reassure customers what is still safe to continue with from current government guidance
  • Event changes or delays
  • Cancellation policies if applicable
  • A reminder that this situation is constantly changing and more updates will be coming from you

Be proactive, be human, be flexible
