Brief

Rankin have been offering property marketing and assistance services in France for over 10 years. With a solid customer base but an ever changing market place, they felt a need for a redefining of their services and alongside this, a refresh of their brand which hadn’t been touched since inception. They wanted to re-position themselves as a modern, forward thinking company which is easily able to transcend geographical borders whilst retaining the friendly and welcoming reputation they are so renowned for.

Solution

We started the branding exercise by looking at the logo. Originally a very intricate and delicately illustrated crest, we recreated this as a simple line drawn logo which then sat nicely alongside the company name which was given a new, more modern font. We retained the original red but softened the tone so that it followed the more modern feel of the logo.

In addition to this we’ve created a number of icons to work with key services offered by Rankin, namely their Assistance and Marketing services.

All this has now been rolled out across stationery, signage, direct marketing and email marketing materials. We’re currently working on a new ecommerce website which is due to launch early 2017.
