Harfield Components have been supplying schools, hospitals and commercial organisations with tableware for over 50 years. Forever leading the way in product innovation and offering a comprehensive spectrum of colour options, they wanted this to translate across into the concept for their new brochure. They wanted to refresh the look and feel of their existing brochure, into one that they felt better reflected their brand values of quality, innovation and value. They wanted a set of brand new photography assets and a brochure which showcased their products in a more modern and fresh way.
Rather than use the approach of traditional lifestyle imagery which can result in the product becoming almost secondary, we opted to completely focus on the products and produced a series of still life photography that really let the products shine. Working with the products and adding different backgrounds and textures, we were able to create individual compositions for each product range. We produced a contemporary brochure packed full of beautiful still life shots, creating a completely different feel to anything Harfield had done previously. More importantly Harfield now had a bank of beautiful assets that going forward could be used for a whole host of branded collateral.
