Last Saturday Team Contrast were joined by our media friends Standby Productions to take on the challenge of Go Ape at Delamere Forest.

With us all driving down in convoy through the picturesque Cheshire countryside the scene was set for an epic day in the forest. With the spell of fantastic weather continuing the sun tan cream was slapped in abundance and the excitement started to grow between the group. With our best impressions of Tarzan in full swing (pardon the pun) we mounted the practice course – and all of us passed with flying colours (although I still found the concept of green clip to green toggle pretty hard work).

We then proceeded to take on the the rest of course going higher and higher up into the treetops, jumping across tiny walkways, leaping into nets and balancing on wooden podiums. After a good couple of hours we zipped back down to earth landing in a pit of itchy saw dust with sore muscles and sweaty brows and in need of a good feed.

The team bonding continued over dinner where we treated to home-cooked pub grub in the sunshine, with the question how can go on and top this for the next team building event? The bar had definitely been set high that’s for sure.
