Coinciding with our work on the 2016 brochure we were asked to revise Harfield’s e-commerce website, to see if the style we’d created for the recent printed output could be transferred into the digital domain. On top of that we were also asked to produce a promotional brand film as well… we don’t like to do things by halves here.
Brand consistency was paramount and it was important that the site enabled visitors to get the full Harfield experience when browsing through over 4000 product lines. The ecommerce component of the site was built in Magento with products carefully catalogued and categorised allowing site visitors to easily and quickly cipher between different product ranges, whether viewing it on a tablet, mobile or desktop. The lifestyle photography and bold brand style were also important in creating that consistent thread between all the different projects we’ve worked on for Harfield.
The brand film was the icing on the cake, made from 100’s of still images that were then edited together it was the perfect way to bring the products to life – it also mirrored Harfield’s fun and quirky personality. The video will be used for presentations, email shots and a version also lives on their new website.
