			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dig For Fire approached High Contrast to shoot the campaign photography for Blackburn College.</p>
<p>The brief was to shoot a broad cross-section of students across all courses. This involved us shooting nearly 40 students on site, over a period of two days, capturing each in a number of poses and interacting with props that could then be later used to interact with typography.</p>
<p>The images have so far been used on the Blackburn College <a href="http://www.blackburn.ac.uk" target="_blank">website</a> and will be used across prospectuses and general marketing material for the college.</p>

<p>High Contrast provided styling, hair/makeup, photography and retouching. The shoot took place within the exquisite grounds of a country-house hotel in Essex, UK.</p>
<p>The images have been a great success for Triumph, being used in their ‘Into Summer’ catalogue, POS and online.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Italian family-run business, Frederick’s Dairies approached Contrast to launch their new ice cream label, <a href="http://www.antoniofederici.com" target="_blank">Antonio Federici</a>.</p>
<p>Contrast designed and developed a complete Flash site for the ‘boutique’ ice cream which is packed with information on the product, history of the company, national tour dates, feedback form and a gallery showcasing their advertising campaign which was also shot and coordinated by Contrast. All this is accompanied by the classical sounds of Italian Opera, all designed to convey the Italian passion of the brand.</p>
<p>The ice cream is available to buy at Sainsbury&#8217;s and Waitrose.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Matt O Connor, previous founder of Fathers 4 Justice and creative director to Frederick’s Dairies approached Contrast to aid in the marketing of a new business venture, <a href="http://www.theicecreamists.com" target="_blank">The Icecreamists</a>.</p>
<p>After several strategic workshops with Matt, Contrast coordinated an online campaign that would establish a new brand on a global scale and support the a six week installation within Selfridges London.</p>
<p>At the centre of the campaign, a dynamic Flash website that would convey the powerful brand identity, a sumptuous range of revolutionary ice creams and ice cream cocktails including The Sex Pistol, a natural-Viagra ice cream served with a shot of absinthe via an intravenous drip.</p>
<p>The team started online activity prior to the launch and using <a href="http://twitter.com/theicecreamists" target="_blank">Twitter</a>, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/theicecreamists" target="_blank">Facebook</a>, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/theicecreamists" target="_blank">YouTube</a> and working closely with the Selfridges online team and PR agency Taylor Herring, achieved over 1,500 followers/subscribers in a matter of weeks, before a single ice cream had even been sold.</p>
<p>The result was an overwhelming response on launch night, international online press coverage, over 3,500 followers/subscribers in just 6 weeks, multiple offers of investment and franchising, and an established platform for the brand to now launch themselves into the global marketplace and challenge the biggest names in ice cream.</p>

<p>The feel of the brochure was to have that of a &#8216;coffee table&#8217; book, something that would carry the impact, size and confidence of the products through to the end user.</p>
<p>Again, Contrast managed the photography, styling, design and creative direction of the project from planning right through to delivering the brochure to 18 UK retail outlets.</p>

<p>Taking advantage of our contacts including bridal wear specialists and furniture manufacturers, we were able to pull together the perfect combination of classic styling.</p>
<p>Beautiful imagery, minimal typography and clean and simple layouts show off the products to their best.</p>
<p>Contrast also managed the printing and distribution of the brochures which were extremely well received throughout the 18 UK retail outlets.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.vintageclothingcompany.com" target="_blank">The Vintage Clothing Company</a>, a client for over 10 years, approached Contrast wishing to update their Pop Boutique brand online and take advantage of new internet technologies. They have recently been expanding their retail outlets too so wanted to support the shops at the same time as increasing their online retail.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.pop-boutique.com" target="_blank">The solution</a> was a fresh look for the website, making use of Flash animation, a new layout for products with clearer, larger images and colour swatches. The site encourages interaction via the Blog, Flickr and Facebook Pages.  The stores are able to manage their own news and promotions via Facebook which are linked to the Blog. Perhaps one of the most significant developments the website has seen is that it’s fully content-managed, putting the control of the content and ability to update the site quickly and easily back in the clients’ hands.</p>
<p>The result has been over a 200% increase in online sales, great feedback from customers and quickly rising visitor traffic.</p>
