The Vintage Clothing Company, a client for over 10 years, approached Contrast wishing to update their Pop Boutique brand online and take advantage of new internet technologies. They have recently been expanding their retail outlets too so wanted to support the shops at the same time as increasing their online retail.
The solution was a fresh look for the website, making use of Flash animation, a new layout for products with clearer, larger images and colour swatches. The site encourages interaction via the Blog, Flickr and Facebook Pages. Perhaps one of the most significant developments the website has seen is that it’s fully content-managed, putting the control of the content and ability to update the site quickly and easily back in the clients’ hands.
The result has been a huge increase in online sales, great feedback from customers and quickly rising visitor traffic.
